Hood Interchange

I was in an accident in my truck a few months ago and my hood suffered some damage. I have a 2004 ranger edge 4x4. I am wondering what hoods from what years will fit on my truck. I want the powerdome style(either like mine or the classic 01-03 one if it will fit and line up). Thanks

Anything 04 and newer would be a direct bolt on. Nice and easy.

The 01-03 powerdome will hit your taller grille, and won't work. I have seen a couple of people take an older powerdome and cut the leading edge off so that it would fit around the taller grille on the newer trucks, but that leaves an unfinished look to the hood IMO.

what about swapping to an 01-03 grille too, or is it not that simple.

You will need to swap the hood, grille, and header panel...

Just get a later model grille, a new black one will run you about $20.
