My kids and family will be celebrating Christmas at my parents on Christmas eve. I'll be taking the kids home that night.

Christmas day Vanessa has to work a 24-hour shift on the ambulance and my kids will be at their moms. I'll be home alone. I'll have to make sure I get something from the store to eat since everything will be closed Christmas day.

I was just wondering how many others will be 'Home Alone' on Christmas day?

sorry to hear that jim if i was close i would invite you over, my buddies has the reverse of your delema, he has to work 24hr shift for emt out here, and his wife will be alone for christmas day

Hey.......

mary and i will be alone together :icon_thumby:

we usually head across state to my parents house for the holidays, but due to the job situation, we cant afford to go anywhere this year.

It's my g/f's year to work Christmas day at the hospital (every other year or something like that), so i'll be home alone too, so you're not the only one. :icon_thumby:

Most likely spending it alone here too. Family's all halfway across the country, and the majority of the people I know around here are all the ex-wife's family.

I usually volunteer to work Christmas... I don't like all of the family stuff.

This year, I'm going out with my GF and her family to Kansas. Something different.

I'll be sitting at home, we're not really having much of a Christmas. My brothers getting presents, my parents are, they open them, then we sit around all day in our own separate places. Usually my brother in front of the TV, mom at her computer, me in my room on mine. My dad will probably go to work and that's my Christmas day. We might have a big dinner, I don't know though.

I'm getting about 50 dollars for Christmas. No present of any kind.

Well thats a bummer that you wont be able to spend time with your family. My girlfriend and I are doing are respective parents houses this year so its kind of a bummer that I wont get to hang out with her. Ohh Well.

I'll be home alone, too. Plus have to work Christmas morning, the chickens won't pick thierselves up. My family lives in north Florida and I live here in north Alabama.

I'll be with family for x-mas, there all coming over. But the bast part of this coming christmas for me is I'm getting a transmission for my 92 ranger!! :yahoo: I havent had this thing on the road since october....i miss driving it around, right now im driving my 86 ranger. but yea srry to hear bout that Jim

I work until about 9:00pm Christmas eve. The good part about working Christmas eve is I find position lights on other aircraft and point out the red lights to the kids in back and tell them it's Rudolph's nose. At least I have Christmas day off. We'll be doing a family Christmas in the morning. Then off to my fiancé's house for Christmas with her family then in the evening we'll be doing Christmas with my family. I won't be home until late but at least it's not like this thanksgiving. Dinner at taco hell. For food I'll have amazing ham at my parents and the most dried out turkey at the soon to be in laws. Stop over Jim we're only about 800 miles away.

Jim, your more than welcome to drive down to Canal Winchester and hang out with us.
