I would suspect the reason for not servicing 2 holes close together is that they may share the same cords in the belt.

I live less than 2 miles from the county landfill. Stuff is always falling out if trucks and trailers on the way there. Especially bad at the traffic light between me and the landfill.I've had as many as four tubeless tire repair plugs in one tire before. I've had two on a motorcycle tire in the past. I don't lose any sleep over them. Damn dry wall screws seem to be the big culprit around these parts.
