ok yea so i almost died a few minutes ago,

(may be mis-spelled words due to IM SHOOK THE HEL UP

I was under my truck, was goin to take off the two back tires with 1 jack.:black_eye::no2:

So i was jacking it up on the diff,(:no2:) got it up and took of one of the tires,
went to the other side and it was barely high enough, so anyways i start jacking again, (with 1 tire on). And i start to here a crackling noisee, i weent on and i heard it again, so i figured the truck falling on the ground so i turned around and pulled myself out from under that truck as fast as i could and soon as i pulled out the truck went SMACK on the ground.. (:shok::black_eye::icon_surprised::c-n:), i have to be the luckiest person ever..I survuved with only a scratch... thank god

NEVER JACK UP YOUR TRUCK WITH ONE JACK IN THE MIDDLE

dude, i was almost squat to death:icon_surprised:

well now that we learned what jack stands are for. time to buy a set. But I'm glad you are ok who else can increase there post count by a 100 every week.

It's perfectly safe to jack up a truck by the diff. Sounds like you need a better floor jack though, a real 2 or 3 ton with a 4 inch saddle or bigger. Come in from the back, jack it up, throw some jackstands under the axle tubes. Never jack up a truck while you or anyone else is under it, and always shake the truck before getting under it. Glad you're safe though.

Damn. Just become a premium member and almost get snuffed out. You would have been throwing away 51 weeks of membership...

k guys thanks alot for the tips and not bashing like i expected haha

From now on I think it would be a good idea to have your father help you with your truck.
Almost killing yourself gets me worried.

Just ask for jack stands for your birthday so you can see 15...and you should get someone else in on your account in case something happens...what would we do if suddenly there were no more posts from you and didn't know what happened...

BTW...believe in Angels...there were probably three of them there with you holding up the truck until you got out...but there was also at least one against you who pushed it...

Oh, and you're too young to play lotteries...and that's not a bad thing...

So how did it fall? What you did was unsafe, but a truck should still be fairly stable jacked up under the diff with a good jack.
