Holley carb, what to use for fuel fitting???

im wondering what fuel fitting people are using on their holley carbs? i bout a cheapo universal 5/16th's hose fittings, but it wont seal right on my carb and i get small drips after driving. tried teflon tape but still does it

should i get something like this?

right now i have something like this, and its not flared

that would be a better angle for my fuel hose then what i have now, i have a loop in it to keep it from pinching closed
