hockey puck body lift?

i saw a 3-4 mpg increase by running my 33's on my truck i have a PA 3'' body lift and t-bars cranked to level out my truck. i'd say i'd spend the 90$ and get the kit cuz it comes with all your relocation brackets and hoses and proper bracketry

he asked if there were body mounts on the bed and he said he couldnt find any, thats cause there arent any guys.he is trying to find the rubber bushing is my guess and there are not any for the bed only the cab.

Most of not all trucks have the bed mounted right to the frame without the rubber bushing due to the load rating of the bed, the rubber would be warn out FAST in a working truck.

yep, but they charge 7 shipping a piece of them.....

just goto a sporting goods store and pick them up, odds are they will FAR outlast your owning the truck, ive seen trucks with them on for 10+ years with no ill effects.......

+1
My friends truck has about 17 years on his pucks, no crumbling or cracking.

thats possible if he ran 33s but used to run 35s !HA!

I did the "washers welded on a piece of pipe" for my own truck
But I was also making the pipe extend through the new
urethane (energy suspension) body mount bushings I
was installing at the time.

The "washers welded on a pipe" method is actually second choice in my book.

what I wanted to do was lathe turn solid slugs of metal out of bar stock
and thread them for the pipe I was using as inner sleeves for my body
mounts, but my buddy wih the lathe was packing up to move and his lathe was inaccessable.

well ive really thought about it and have decided to let it be. ill just run the stock size, this little truck gets great mileage so why skrew it up wit bigger tires?

its kina funny beacuse i said that now i got 31's and get the same mileage;missingteeth;

On the old forum I got chewed out badly just for asking about using hockey pucks...and the reason I was considering that as an option was I ran into someone in the JY who had done their Ranger with them and they'd lasted several years...

I guess it depends on the puck...there certainly are enough cheap pucks in the world...but a good puck is only a few dollars more...

Torx 55 if I remember correct. (see Boggin THAT'S how it's done. LOL)

Well somebody could've told me that!!!

and the bed i helped take off on my bro's truck just used ordinary wrenches,
