Hitches. What years will work with my 96?

Hey. I have a 96 Ranger and I'm looking for a hitch/reciever thing, right now I just have my bumper with the ball. Anyways on kijiji and stuff I find ones that were off like a 2002 and 2008. Would these work on my 96? Did the frame width ever change? Or is it more than that...bolt holes and such? Thanks

Looks like the tail end of the frame is the same, which makes sense considering the Ranger has only had 2 main styles of bed and bumper.

you have a body lift though remember that. While it should fit, it will sit much lower below your bumper.

If you need to, you can always get a drop reciever to get your ball (or balls if you have more than one) down to the right height.

If the frame's the same (not modded in any way), it should bolt right in with minimal issues.

I never did raise my bumper. Only filled in the gap. And I wanna build a custom bumper some point in time haha
