The car was totaled.

Don’t be... He retired from Ford in 1981 with a pension, traveled the world, and ticked off all the boxes on his bucket list before he went. He lived a full life and died a happy man. What more could you ask for?

Not a whole lot more than that, for sure. And he probably left behind a pretty good legacy, too.
