With my dads 97 Ranger.


I was driving home from the mall last night, and my i see my brother on the freeway, he has the 95 Chevy 1500.

He revs it up, and takes off. I KNOW my truck cant run him, but i thought maybe my dads might.

I caught him at about 86 Mph. We werent going that fast, i know, but it was kind of fun.


I didnt think a 2.3 Stock could put up against a 350.

Wow! I wish my truck could beat anything...heres my combo...4.0L...3.73's...heavy fricking 33x12.50x15 Toyo Open Country M/T's...I lost to a cavy...I think my truck has forgotten the meaning of acceleration

Haha, Well my dads is a pretty much stock XLT.

Its got Aftermarket rims and tires, but thats it.

my mazda is the same its a dog but its cuz i got 3L 33's an 3.73 gears, but if i get a honda trying to race me i just pull behind them if at night an ride there ass with highbeams on just to piss them off. on the other hand my 92 ranger 4L 300 k on her, 9" lift 36 iroks an 4.56 gears is a rocket i was shocked. she hauls a$$, an just for the hell of it i tried to smoke the tires an i smoked the 36s into 3rd gear.

my 2.3 would outrun most older v8 chevys from a roll no problem.

my '96 4.0 5spd with friggin 3.08's outruns things much bigger than it.... beat a "78 LTD II that had a 351w in it, lol.

It also outruns those annoying bowtie 4.3L V6's. Beat a GMC Sonoma that had a nearly identical setup to my truck (it had the 4.3, 3.08's, 5 spd) Apparently the 160hp 4.0 is a bigger beast than I thought.

hell my 2.5 hitted the 100mph mark with stock tires, it hits 90 with 30"s
its a 5 spd with 3.73 gears

At least I did something that I am proud of...This morning going to drop off some mail early at the post office I see some idiot coming up way behind me with his high beam bright lights on (those stupid looking bright blue ones) and he is cutting off people left and right. I am pulling away from a traffic light and some cars ahead of me are pulling away slower then usual, and a few are staring to pick up speed. Well, Tuner Boy comes up to tries and cut me off by passing in between me and two other cars a few car lengths right ahead of me and to the right of me, and I nailed the pedal just as he tried to cut in between me and he had to lock up the brakes!!!! Haaaa!!!! I smoked him by two car lengths!!! Haaaaa . The good thing is the car in front of mean already excellerated ahead of me. Tuner Boy stayed way back after that. Then two sheriff cars pulled out of a shopping mall and got behind us. I wish they had been out a bit earlier...they could have got Tuner Boy for speeding about 25 mph over the speed limit!!!

A Mazda RX7 Tuner Boy from Hell!!!! Why do these guys put theses huge giant wings on the back of their front wheel drive cars!!!! (Well, not sure the RX7 is front wheel drive but I think it is). Darn if if was not still a bit dark I could have got a photo of that wing. I mean this wing was so HUGE!!!!!!!

i have a 2.9 with intake and exhaust and 31 inch tires with 3.73s 5spd and i can beat most 4 cylinder tuners

RX-7s are rear wheel drive.

With a rotary motor. When done up right, they can be EXTREMELY quick.

Haha well I guess I have a 300zx twin turbo for when I wanna go fast. After I regear and get lighter times hopefully it will be respectable
