I'm having a high rev issue with my ranger first thing no vacuum leaks the problem started so I started with a throttle body cleaned it , also the MAF sensor cleaned them , the problem was IACV that goes right on the throttle body i tap it a few times an the truck would lower it rpm an throttle normal so fine I took it off cleaned it, so it work for a week . I said ok fine I'll replace the part I did so yesterday, a new IAC valve an the truck wouldn't throttle to normal it comes in waves it works and then suddenly it just revs an I'm talking 3000 rpm minimum it goes to 2000 rpm . Any tips would be much appreciated .
