I just bought my neighbors 88 Bronco II to slap in my 86 bronco II. I had the oil pressure and compression tested and it was great!!! I have a hi vol. oil pump, when i change engines out, should i install that hi vol oil pump in the donor engine? the engine either has 74K or 174K miles on it.

thanks!
Chaz.

I guess you could if you wanted to but why not leave it as is?
To me I feel like it's totally your choice..You can't go wrong either way!

could aslo check the screen and end play, slugin the pan ,all aliitle insurance to the engine swap

might as well do all your gaskets while the engine is out.

i would say it would depend on your driving style/habits. lol
