Hi TRS
Off the bat thanks for the huge trove of helpful info I've soaked in the past few months lurking the site.
For the last 10 years I was employed by an automaker and had cheap employee leases of new-model vehicles through them. A couple of months ago I left that career, and found my new Ranger to solve the vehicle issue.

45k miles '94 XLT Extended Cab in Cayman Blue Metallic (teal is my favorite color, username is the vanity plates I'm waiting on :D)

I won it on Bring a Trailer, first time using that marketplace, so I can answer questions about that if anyone's interested (it was a really great experience).

Plans:
  • Current 14" wheels → 15" OEM wheels + Firestone Destination LE3 (new wheel set already lined up, I'll post these minty 14" alloy deerhoofs on the classifieds forum when I swap if there's interest)
  • Current 9" rear drums → 10" drums
  • Electric fan
  • Remove the free money between the headers and muffler (CARB catalytic converter, truck was purchased new in CA and stayed there until 2022), install Spintech 6000 muffler into Flowmaster resonator, straight rear exhaust
  • K&N drop in
  • BBK throttle body (worth it?)
  • Underdrive pulley (worth it?)
  • SOHC oil pan swap (worth it?)
  • Headers later on
  • Past 100k I'll look at heads, camshaft, etc
Otherwise I've just replaced the reciever/speakers and added subs velcro'd back between the jumper seats. Any other suggestions?

edit: is there a waiting period or post minumum before I can make a signature?

Welcome!

That is one sharp truck, and '94 is my favorite year for the Ranger and the Explorer.

That's gotta be at least in the top 10 cleanest 3rd gens I've ever seen...
