I am Jack,
I am from the Netherlands but I spend a lot of time in SoCal.
I bought a 1988 Ranger 2.9 l
love this truck.
It needs work and I am looking forward starting this.
The weather strips from the windows and the door rubber strips needs to be replaced.
Anybody any good ideas where to buy this parts ??

Thanks,
Jack

Lmctruck.com has catalogs you can download/view on your computer. I am pretty certain they have those weather strips. RockAuto.com would be another good place to check.

Welcome to TRS Jack ~!

Yes, LMC had them the last time I checked...my 88 Ranger doors needed them but the 92 Ranger doors were in much better shape so I just swapped doors...but there were problems with that and I wished I had just stuck with the 88 doors...

another question

There is on the bottom off the windscreen on the outside, the space where the whiper engine is.
Now that there is a lot of rain in SoCal this space fills up with water.
Tryed to find where there is an opening where the water has to go thrue.
Do you know where this opening is ?

Thanks again !

If you're talking about the cowl, which I think you are, the drains are behind the front fenders.

The water drains on both sides of the cowl behind the fenders. It typically runs down over the cab structural parts and can be a source of rust in both the drain area and the side posts.

To access that you need to remove both fenders and the front trim. Not a hard job but time consuming.
