Rangers and Explorers

I knew you could get them from explorers but i didn't know that put them in rangers.

You're much better off with a Ford 4.0. It fits way easier, tons of people have done it already to help you with any questions you might have, plus it's a Ford engine in a Ford truck, the way it was meant to be

I've done quite abit of looking around and i can't find just the motor and tranny. And the whole jeep thing was just an idea.lol

Not a big fan of the Jeep 4.0, the Ford 4.0 actually makes better low end torque too.

Yeah, but you can get 400hp high 300ft/lbs torque from a stock 5.0L HO bottom end with a nice set of heads and a carb, all while using the stock cam... (That's a liter less in cubes!)
