Hi, I joined here a few minutes ago mainly to get Help with a 1996 Ranger 4x4 that I bought yesterday.
I do like ford Rangers and have had a 1996 2 wheel drive for a couple of years that gets great gas mileage with the 4 cylander standard trans but needed a 4x4 for use on the farm.
I am 53 and live in Arkansas.I am looking forward to having fun and learning all i can on this site which already looks to be very informative.

Thanks Dave for the welcome.
I will get some pics up sometime next week.
My plans for the 4x4 are to useit out on my familys Farm to do a lot of fishing ,hunting,and camping.
I am not interested in using it just to go mud riding ,I have been there done that many years ago!53 now and Just want o have a dependale rig to pull an Old popup tent camper and the things I described above.
Rightnow i would be satisfied with getting the 4wd working and the truck shifting right. !Just posted a help request in the 4wd section.
