your '07 should have a 4 wire trailer connector, all of them of that era did from the factory.

Walt-My S-10s had traction problems in the rain. First S-10 was a 95 regular cab. 4cyl, 5sp manual. no traction in the rain. Second S-10 was 97 extra cab 4cyl, 5sp manual. No traction in the rain with EITHER. Sold the 97 S10. This 07 Ranger is my First.
