I'm Dave, been checking out this website for a long time and finally decided to register. I have had 5 Rangers over the years starting with a 1988 reg cab 2wd longbed xl with a 2.9 and 5 speed manual which I bought brand new in 1987. Also had a 98 reg cab 4x4 longbed 4.0, 2004 FX4 level 2 with a 5 speed manual, 2006 reg cab xl 2wd 2.3 manual (which I still have) then, in 09 I heard about ford cancelling the ranger and decided if I ever want to buy a new one again, I should act now. So I bought a new 2009 vista blue fx4 supercab with 5 speed manual and leather seats and all that good stuff. At that point I had 2 rangers so I was a happy camper, until last year when some a$$hole in a lifted dodge ram ran a red light, plowed into me and totalled the 09. So at that point it was back to driving the 06 on a daily basis and continues to this day.
Anyway, as you can see I am not new to rangers and I have always thought they are the best little trucks out there. I look forward to talking to you all on the forums and I'm sure I will learn a lot.
