Hi,

I just came across your site about a week ago, and have been reading technical articles ever since. Decided it was time to join the site and see if I can find a ranger to buy. I had a 1992 ranger standard cab, 4x4, 4.0L, auto about a year and a half ago drove it for 7 months with no problems at all and then I foolishly sold it so that I could get back into my 1995 Chevy blazer and buy a motorcycle. Well after three transmissions, three front end rebuilds(needs another now), sagged rear springs, and torsion bars, I want my nice simple Ranger with the TTB front end back, only this time I would like a supercab and a 5spd, with the 4.0L again.

So hi again, and I will be searching the site reading a bit and looking for a 90-92 Ranger supercab, 4.0L 5spd.

Welcome :D

Whereabouts in Michigan are you from?

Welcome to TRS.
Yeah, You will be far better off with a Ranger. I work on them chebbies everyday and I just don't understand why anyone would want to own one.
A buddie of mine bought a '98 Blazer w/a little front end damage, he bought it cheap so he thought it was a deal. He now has $2500 into it and it doesn't run because the pass key system is fried and Chevy wants $700 plus change to fix it. He is not happy.
All vehicle break but, sometimes it just isn't realistic to fix them.
