I've been watching the forum for quite some time now and just decided to join.. I bought my 98 xlt 4x4 in late 2012 with a blown engine and other minor problems. It was a farm truck all its life and never stored inside but yet not a spot of rust on it. After installing the new engine (stock 3.0), it has become my daily driver.
I've been trying to work up enough cash to swap my 5.0L in but it needs a rebuild.
My to do list for this winter/spring is completely restore the 5.0, install my new/ used 4.10 LS rear diff, lift, and switchboard panel.. (should be fun)
