Good to be here.
With covid going around it's rare I get out of the house. Almost wish there was something wrong with the truck for something to do in the garage. OK, just kidding.
Thing is though, the worst problem that ever had me stumped was that stupid computer ignition key thinggy. If the truck was destined to get stolen, let it happen. No one who wasn't a mechanic could figure what was wrong with the truck. The truck threw up a great fuss with the dash showing a protest that everything had failed, and the dreaded "click" with no starter turn over. Called Ford, and the mech asked me if the key I was using was different than the usual one. ????. "Yeah, just had a new one made". Mechanic says , "Bingo, use your old one, it has a computer in it".
That's the worst so far, butat least that incident didn't cost me anything.
I've got a few real issues with it, and so maybe I can get some help here. When mechanics nervously start ball peaning the frame after they hoist it up, that's telling the owner it's getting on it's last legs. Funny thing though, I still dont want to get rid of it even if the frame splits. If I had the cash, I'd frame off. ,
