As I have stated a couple times in previous posts, I am a teenage boy, I got my first ranger in July. I have been trying to find ideas to what i wanna do to my ranger. I am going to get atleast a 2" lift, and 31's. I haven't been able to find any good pics. Will You guys post all 2-4" lifts and 31+ tires in the same body style as my 96?
I want an offset look, and a brush guard, also flood lights any ideas would be much appreciated.
If you post, will you tell me exactly what you did? Thanks.

Use the search function to look for specific topics: lift, brush guard, lights, etc. Most of what you want is already on the board...just gotta search and find it. Will take some time, but you gotta lot of that right?

Spend the first money on making the truck reliable. If the truck is a daily drvr, keep it stock. Get another Ranger to jack up for playing in the woods :D

X2 on what Andy D said.

and as for sinking money into the truck to spruce it up and make it look nice, first spend money on getting it running right and driving right. No sense putting mods and spending money on cosmetics if the truck breaks down.

X4 on what andy said, I had the impulse to make mine look sexy but luckily I hadnt spent all my cash when it needed work, now mine rides amazing and I am working on the physical now.

Lifts and bigger tires put more stress on bearings, engines, and transmissions, and hurt gas mileage. I know you are just getting started with cars, and have big plans, but you need to realize one thing. Teen age boys, more than any other demographic group on earth, are not too smart.

Live with it as it is for a while, then once you are older, and have some more money you can worry about lifts and tires and such.
