I've been to this site before as a visitor and thought it was time to join. I've got a 2008 XL with the 2.3 Duratech/stick shift. I got the truck new so here's what I've done to it so far: Flowmaster 50 Series muffler with side exit (doesn't sound like a cranky weed eater either), K&N air and oil filters, Castrol Syntech oil and Dunlop Radial Rovers. The turn signal stalk split on the mold seam at 12,000 miles (zip ties are a "temporary solution") and now it's developed a shudder from about 18-25 mph, so I'll be cruising the archives.

Might wanna check your U-Joints for the shudder. easy to look at and the cause of shuddering on at least two RWD vehicles in my family, otherwise one of your tires might not be properly balanced. Never hurts to check the simple things
