Hi guys! im from Minnesota and have an 88 bronco 2 had it 3 years in december. i usually tend to make long posts so bear with me lol. it was chopped before i bought it. and had blown headgaskets/cracked heads when i bought it. put a new used engine in it (recent rebuild bored over etc. 150 bucks) from the junkyard pulled the heads off one was cracked found another good one put it all back together and in the truck and it runs good. i joined to hopefully address some problems i have had, especially with the tranny (a4ld) no overdrive and ocasionally wont keep gear when let off teh gas. one of the previous owners put a ton of time into this thing. front clip was replaced(due to rust i believe) lots of bondo, custom color paint, of course the chop w/ custom cover, and aftermarket rims. anyway i am in the process of adding a lightbar and trying to figure out what im gonna do with all the rust... but a pic or two for you all:

im not really all that fond of it (i have always wanted a bronco 2) i mean i like it but i really prefer to drive my other cars. there is a 302 in the garage that may or may not find its way under the hood.

and as for my other cars... i have to many lol. my sable is my favorite, but my list also consists of: 97 contour, 88.5 escort gt, 95 grand prix (2 door), 90 lebaron convertable, 78 ranchero, 77 ramcharger.

a couple other random pics lol

it's lowered w/eibachs, got much larger sway bars, SHO leather seats... etc.

kinda an old pic but you get the idea. its in the garage right now gettin everything put back together after a new clutch, mtx, and engine rebuild.

i am sure i will enjoy it here! thanks guys for reading my lengthy post lol

Thanks!
you know thats funny cause i never noticed that... yeah i dont think there are any dents besides the rear bumper being a little tweeked from a mishap with a stop sign a couple winters ago...

Couple sections of fresh skin tacked, welded, or rivited into place with a little mashing and grinding and glazing and some paint and that B2 would be like new, only better with a nice chop like that.

Sounds like your driveway looks similar to mine!

Welcome to TRS!

thanks!
yeah i am honestly thinking i need to find a ranger for parts and take some body panels off (i.e. bed rails, cab, tail gate, etc.) and make it a great chop that isnt just going to kill me if it ever rolls lol.

also i have been tossing up the idea of putting an 89 to 92 front clip on. i know the body lines would match up but is it basically all bolt on parts?
