Hi there, my name is Kirk and I'm from Chilliwack B.C.
Ive known about the ranger station for quite some time now but never joined, and I have to say wow once I joined i realized the extent of this forum. Im looking forward to getting to know you guys and share tech info and such.
A little about my truck, its a 93 ranger 4x4 that i bought 2 years ago bone stock. Ive torn just about everything out of my truck at one point or another and replaced/upgraded stuff.
Since ive had it i have: swapped the 3.0 for a 4.0 ( best upgrade ever!), lockright upfront, 95 explorer 8.8, 63" chevy leaves, explorer OHC, swapped the tranny (have a good pic of the magnet from the old one), and too much more small stuff to remember. Thanks. Here's how it sits now.

Welcome to the forums, your off to a damn nice start. I almost expected to see a B-series with your user name. What all do you have planned for your rig?

Welcome to the freak show :bye:

Plans for my truck are to sas it with an eb Dana44, 3 link with panhard, planning for 35's - 37's with 7 inches of lift or so. The rear is already at that height but the front is only at 3 inches so far, until funds allow. The rake looks pretty funny right now.

Honestly the rake isn't god awful I didn't even notice it until you said something.

The rake is pretty noticeable if you look at the slope of the ground. The 4.0 makes 15 horsepower on paper, but 50-60 ft-lbs more torque at a lower rpm so its usable power now. The swap was pretty straight forward, only changed the mounts, tranny, pcm and a few other odds and ends. The motor came out of a 95 explorer so the wiring was differently later out but mostly plug and play.
Thanks for the welcomes and compliments. :-) and i actually get better mpg with the larger engine oddly enough.
