Hey all, I'm new to the forum, been lurking for a while now, decided I need to join. So, I live in San diego, active duty military, home state is Utah. I'm not new to rangers, I currently have 2, my daily driver is an 05 4x4 super cab 4.0, all stock. the other is my (one of several) project, it's a 1993 splash, originally a 3.0 5spd. I am currently in the process of a v8 swap. It's getting a vortech v2si blown 347 stroker hooked up to a tko600, I've already mocked up the engine and transmission, I just have to do the wiring, get it tuned (probably getting a moates qh), build the exhaust, and do 'some' beefing up of the frame/chassis, and put in an 8.8, not necessarily in that order. The engine made 585rwhp when it was in my fox before it was wrecked. Everybody asks me why I would put such an engine in a ranger, I say: "because I can"
