I started all this with a 90 ranger. Longbed two wheel drive 2.9. Boooring. I got an 85 4x4 shortbed frame for free. I sent away for a superlift kit with everything. Rear leafs superrunner and extended arms. Mounted all that then put my 90 cab and bought a shortbed. After a couple years the 2.9 was going downhill. I found a 99 b3000 wrecked in the front but good everything. I took it all out and put it all in the 90. My 90 now ran like a 99!! After several year running it like that i spun a couple bearings so i parked it. Boo! After staring at it for the past year and a half i came up with a new plan. I want the new body style and a v8. So i picked up a 302 with a five speed from an 01 f150 and a cherry 97 b2300. Im almost done mounting the body. The rear axle is sitting a few inches to far forward. I will need to relocate the spring perches rearward.

Finished moving the rear axle

Finished last night. Now the axle looks right and i dont have to modify the driveshaft. It was 3 inches too long. Stoked. Now i have to extend the rear of the frame a couple inches to catch the last two bolts on the bed.

nice... but where are the pics?
