Ever since i got my 89 b2 the drivers side floor gets very wet, so i came up with the idea of taking out all the carpet or maybe just the front, maybe going half-way under the front seats and putting down some Herculiner or something like it. has anyone done this or have any ideas on it, let me know thx guys:icon_cheers:

I'm going to put rubberized bedliner in my fiancee's minivan. The carpet is 100% trashed from years of her fathers pepsi getting spilled, her mothers mcdonalds coffee, and all of her sisters putting god knows what under the seats.

That van REAKS. But hey, it's free!

WELL I DO SAY , i did my whole truck in hercaliner , rhino bed lining , and it was awsome until the sun hits it , then you have a stench of the bedliner and until that wears off your fine but my inside and out side i put indoor outdoor carptet in the ranger with bedliner underneathe of it , so it wouldnt rott my floor pan .
"'?

The entire body tub of my CJ-7 is coated with 2 layers of Herculiner inside, from the firewall to the tailgate. It's great. I use it for any repairs to the other rides, too. A coat under any patch panels I rivet down, then a coat over the top to seal it all off.

Alot of people bedline the floors of their trucks. The only complaint I've heard is that theres no more sound dampening going on and maybe heat from the exhaust / Cat.

The thing is, If you are getting a leak on the floorboard, why not fix the leak? It might be coming from the windshield or cowl. They're prone to rotting out. My Cowl is starting to eat its way into my inside fire wall. I have the same leak as you.

eventually ill get to fixing it, but i thought the bedliner would look cool anyways. i think ill give it a try

I hear ya. Same here. I'm not really looking forward to pulling the dash in mine to fix my problem.

I found rust under my vinyl mat that had been going on for sometime. No rust through except the cab mount plug on the driver's side. Scraped, sanded the floor boards, coated with two coats of rust bullet and used gray herculiner and put dowm two heavy duty rubber floor mats from Wally World looks great, works good. does get alittle warm but until I find the two other small leaks it does the job. Two quarts of herculiner will do over two coats on a regular cab
