Yeah james duff sells shocks for their various lift with 70/30 valving I believe.A few others here with more experience with duff can provide more insight. Otherwise anyshock company should work if you just wnat other than stock. Rancho is a good one too.

James Duff offers nothing for Gen4+ other than rear components.

Bilstein Heavy Duty's (the yellow and blue ones) are AWESOME shocks. I ran them before I was lifte and am currently running a pair on the front. I love 'em....nice rebound and they aren't mushy and not too firm. Rides aboslutely great compared to stock crap shocks.

Just so you know, something that'll help you find the HUUUUUGE amount of shock options for your truck is if you look up stuff for an '07 or even '03. Shock lengths/mounting hasn't changed since '98. Another good option I've heard is getting Monroe or Gabriel shocks.

Thanks for the help i have a hard decision of going with bilsteins or ranchos now... i see the ranchos everywhere but bilstein come by me as a better shock all the way around. what should i do!!!! :dunno:

I wouldn't recommend the Gabriel's. I'm running them currently, and they are no better than the factory ones.

I'm looking at getting Rancho RS9000XL series shocks, Rancho has a rebate going on for them.

Do you have the white bodied ones or the silver bodied ones or the black ones?? The silver bodied "Max Control" shocks I've heards good things about. The white ones and black ones are the cheapies.

White-ish, MI rust doesn't leave much the original color. I believe they were the Ultras or Max Control, I'll have to see if a sticker is still present on one of them.

edit:
They are the Ultras currently.

I'd buy anything other than Ranchos. Or just go with Bilsteins you really can't go wrong with those.
