My girlfriend and I are doing a walk for homeless/abused/unwanted animals for the humane society. We have started a website to raise money for this cause and would appreciate any donations there is no minimum amount.
(The Humane Society of Broward Receives No Government Funding From National Organizations. They Are Funded 100% By Private Donations And through Special Fund Raising Events Such As The Walk For Animals) Thank You in advance and we Appreciate your help.

why would you walk for them, why dont you just ask people to adopt them...........

you might get further...

no offence, but id rather adopt a dog than donate money to people walking for money to get spent on the society(i.e. not 100% on the animals)

and where is the walk taking place.....

then go adopt a dog where do you think mine came from?the walk raises money to help the animals in the Humane Society it 100% for the animals (READ IT AGAIN) and the walk is in Broward county FL and if you don't want to help that is fine but don't bad mouth something good i'am trying to support.

Also the Humane Society is a no kill animal shelter thats why i support it.

with how fucked the economy is i'd rather eat homless animals then give them money. In my eyes eating these animals is a win win. No crumb snatchers running around messing shit up and shitting on sidewalks. Plus its almost a renewable resource of food for ppl......i know PETA hates me

The economy has a lot to do with helping due to the fact that a lot more people are abandoning their pets cause they can't afford to to feed them.

i know thats why i'am trying to help and i know not everyone can afford to donate especially if you don't have a job.

man I see those terrible commercials about the animals that are dying and if I could afford it I would adopt them all and donate.

But due to the economy, people losing there houses to foreclosures it makes sense that people are unable to feed there pets so they let them loose or bring them to the pound. For instance I rescued my dog last year from a rescue, I look at this dog and I can't figure out how this animal was put into a pound(she was in the pound before the rescue picked her up). Does this animal look like someone would just bring it to the pound unless they couldnt afford it?

i'm with you on that i adopted my dog a year ago the day before he was going to be put down i know not every one can afford to donate we are just asking everyone if they would like to help a good cause.

i support what you are doing 100%. believe me if i had some money i would be more than happy to help but due to the fact that i dont currently have a job i am not able to. i adopted both my dogs from a shelter and even adopted my turtle.
