I took the carb off and went though it again and I got it to idle great now with the choke opening. it dosen't run rich at idle anymore but it still gets too much gas while its being throttled. I think I still have some trash in the carb somewhere.

Getting there...sounds like...

I took mine apart without bothering to buy a gasket set and flipped the phenol~whatchamacallit over then applied some muffler sealer (OK, I know...) and voila~ no more sucking sound and rough running...and the idle is back to normal...

I did find that I had screwed the filter in too far and the gas was rushing into the carb...if you have a filter on yours try backing it off a few turns to see if that's part of the problem...must be some valve or something on mine that I was pushing open with the end of the filter...
