Ok, so, hears the low down. My truck wont start:
There is Spark at the plugs.
There IS fuel in the fuel rails, but i dont know if the injectors are firing.
Engine roll's over without problems, but shows no life. When cranking for a considerable amount of time, it will fire one then die. I have checked the coil, its ok. TFI modual is ok, im asuming, because im getting spark. The only codes are for the intake air temp, and ECT being out of range, which isnt a surprise, its -18c out. I will be getting a Fuel pressure tester tomorow, so i can test pressure. Also, there is 1/4 tank of fuel. i have dumped in some fuel line antifreeze. but still no change. Im looking for some ideas about what i can check next befor putting it on a hook and sending it out. Im going into exams this week and dont have time to eff around with it.

fuel lines could be froze up. Its happened to my b2 before. I dumped a bottle of HEET in the gas tank and waited til later and it started right up. Try it.

ok, so, i dumped in two bottles of prestone gas line antifreeze. I may go out and try it again in a bit. like i said b4 tho, there is fuel reaching the schrader valve on the fuel rail

you have the right firing order?

tfi is not for spark it tells ecc when to start the injector sequence

um, if it was the wrong fireing order, then it wouldnt have run fine till now. And the TFI is for injector control eh? I thought it stood for "Thick Film Ignition" Is there a way to test it?

ok, so i was mistaken about what TFI was short for, its thick film intigrated, but its main jop is ignition. It has 8 new injectors.

no its job is not ignition.how does the ecc know when to fire injectors(hint its a sensor in the dist called tfi).efi why not pull codes.it will tell you whats wrong

i see your getting fuel but have you check the fuel filter to see if it is clogged up.

ok, so, the TFI IV is related to both ignition and the fuel system. It is NOT a sensor, the HALL effect switch senses engine rotation, which tells the EEC that its time to get shit going.Fuel pressure is within spec. As mentioned in the first post, there are NO relivant codes. the KOEO test shows two sensors out of range, because the engine is stone cold. There is nothing stored in continues memory either. SO, NOW, it has a new TFI and a new coil. Im starting to suspect that our dear friend F.R.E.D has died....whos fread? Fucking Redicules Electronic Device. ?unless anyone else has some ideas.

Hey buddy, long time no see. Which computer does your truck have? I have seen PCM's for Ford trucks for as little as $20 from a few wreckers close to you. If you were a bit closer, I could help you out with good ole FRED.

Hey man, how you been doing? I've been insainly busy with college. I get how everytihng with fred works, but i cant understand wtf is going on. I have spark, and fuel pressure, but by isnt the ECM triggering the injectors? Could the ecm realy be at falt? I need a ECM for a highoutput engine

what about the 10 pin injector connectors. check for bad contacts.check all grounds on motor to frame, motor to firewall, ecc to body.since the ecc is a ground controler they are important.did you try starting fluid?if ecc is giving code info i doubt its bad but its possible

an ecm can still be partialy operational and still lose the controls. a KOEO test tests engine temp, intake air temp throttle position and all actuators EXCEPT the injectors. And your kidding about starting fluid and a Gas engine right? Engine Ground is good. Body grounds are good, and chassir grounds are good. I replaced/repaired all of them when i replaced the engine.
