I have a 1993 Ford Ranger 2.3. I recently replaced one of the axle seals and everything has been fine for the past week since i did it. I jump in it to go get breakfast this mornin, and all of a sudden it starts makin a horrible noise, kinda like a grindin from the back, that would get louder as I went faster. I got home and checked the rearend and it was full. I went to my uncles shop, and the noise had magically gone away. He said it could possbly be a u-joint, but I have NEVER heard of this happening. Any ideas?
