help!

ive got a 99 b4000(4.0 v6) 5speed. it started skipping bout a month and a half ago. first i replaced the plugs and it did fine for bout 3 weeks then it started again. so i replaced the plugs again and it was ok for a week then it got rediclous. it used to only skip toward the end of 4 gear and through 5. then it started to skip at the end of 1 and all the way through all the rest. it only skips though when im on the gas. as soon as i get out of the gas it stops and when i down shift(for braking) its fine. i took it to the shop not to long ago and they replaced the ignition coil and it fixed the problem for the rest of the day but sure enough its back already. im all out of answers i dont know a whole lot but i know some and i like learning so any suggestions at the problem???
this is a complete shot in the dark but my thoughts were that if the throttle is controlled electronically(which im not sure if it is) then could a wire be shorting out somewhere cause that would explain why it only happens when im on the gas?

you have replaced the plugs and the coil, have you replaced the plug wires? because thats what i would do if you haven't

im 99.9% sure its not elect. throttle
does it do it when cruising, or just when your in the skinny?

If anything other than autolite dual platinums, you're just beating your head against a wall.

i replaced when i replaced the plugs so they should be good. but yeah it only happens when im on the gas. i cant remember what kind of plugs i used. does it realy make that big a difference?
