Sorry no cheap way to go if you want to go 4X4 LT with your truck. The only 4X4 option out there is the Dixon Racing kit. It is a great kit, but it will set you back $3,500.00 w/o shocks, bump stops, heimed steering, rear support strut, grade 8 hardware, and/or fiberglass. You could easily spend over $6,000.00 on the front end alone assuming that you are doing the installation. You will have more options on the rear of the truck, but it can add up as well.

LT trucks are a lot of fun, and I highly encourage you to build one if that is what you want to do. That being said, LT and cheap rarely go together. Unfortunately, newer 4X4 trucks are even more expensive to build than the older beamed trucks. If you just want the look, that can be accomplished for substantially less money.

Good luck and let me know if you have additional questions.

Camburg also has one but they haven't had a truck to put it on yet. Just FYI

Dam this looks like about a year and a half project for me but the way U sound it seems worth it. Ima probably start wit plate bumper and fenders just to get the look and slowly save for the DR kit? wat do u think? Wat r the best tires to get and wat size?

Thats pretty much what I am doing. I have my front glass on order and have some 33 km1`s all ready on. Honestly it looks awesome with just tires. I would go with a 33-35 inch tire. If you go 35`s you may be able to get away without re gearing I know my 4.0L can spin the 33`s no problem. 33`s will fit stock with a T bar crank. 35 would rub with stock suspension, but look better imo. Another thing I would recommend is some better shocks. Dixon Bros as a kit for some 2.0 Resi shocks with mounts for like 599. These will help you wont necessarily gain travel with them but they will help woth your off road abilities. Bigger tires will put a lot more stress on your bearings and joints as well.
