My fuel line has been chewed on by an animal at the fuel pump. The 90 degree fitting that connects to the fuel pump. I have tried to heat the line up to replace the fitting that goes to the fuel pump and when it gets hot enough to start pushing the fitting into the fuel line, it (the fuel line) blisters. Any ideas you might have will be greatly appreciated. Thanks Tom1030

There’s a special tool for putting those fittings on the factory fuel line

How much exposed fuel line do you have? There is a way using a line clamp from a flare tool set to hold that worthless vinyl fuel line and a caulk gun for a pusher. However, it takes a few inches of fuel line to position all of this.
