I know this isn't really the exact forum but I figured if anyone's done this mod like I have, it's more than likely a lowrider.

So I didn't install it myself unfortunately but for some reason the door popper decides when it wants to work. As far as I can tell all connections are sound, and it's about 3-4 yrs old now. Is it just worn out or do I need to look at a new fob or what? I tried swapping out new batteries in the fob but so far it's still finicky as hell.:icon_confused:

Could just be in need of adjustment. can you hear the solenoid moving when you try to activate it? If not it could be the relay that energizes it. Might be something else but they're the first things that come to mind.

when i had my mini truck i use to shave the handles but not the lock and i hooked the handle linkage to the barrel, so when you turn the key the door will open.

but sounds like a bad solenoid to me
