help with my runing lights..

I have a 1990 ranger.. when I turn on the lights the front runing lights come on but the rears do not.. if i hit the brakes the brake lights work if i use the turn signals they all work and the revers lights work .. so what would cause only the runing lights not to work.. even the license plate lights work. i replaces all the bulbs and checked all the fuses..

If your bulbs are good, I would suspect faulty sockets or wiring. The license plate lights should be on the same circuit as the tail lights. That says the power is getting to the rear of the truck.

found the problem and fixed it .. About half way up the box some one had spiced into the brown wire with one of those blue crimp and add a wire (crapp) things and the wire had broken there .. I got rid of the (crap) added a small section of wire with solder and shrink tubing and its all good now ..
