Help with my alignment??

measure the compressed height of the coils as it sits and post up.about 14.5 for the 4" lift and 16.5 for the 6" lift.anything shorter won't work.

10" wide wheels will effectively put more leverage on the beam and sag it .5-1" as well.

if they are the 2.5-3.5" duff dual shocks then they won't keep you from reaching ride height.but you should have longer shocks for a 4-6" lift if you want any droop, if they aren't for the duff 5.5" lift.

if the shocks aren't limiting it and the coils are tall enough you do indeed have beam and or balljoint/bearing/eccentric issues.

Now I even more confused. I jacked up and tried to wiggle the tires to check the ball joints, no movement. Then when I put the truck down, I looked at the front and took a pic. It looks fine!? You can see a major difference in the camber. I put the pics online.

I haven't had a chance to measure the coils, have to get my measuring tape back.

I replaced the tie rods a while ago and I know I didn't get it on perfect, but I thought when they aligned it they would adjust that. When I drive down the alley, you can feel the tires fighting or pulling against each other. Could the tie rods/drag link be messing up the camber that bad? After seeing how after jacking it up I am more confused. I even hopped up and down on the bumper and it doesn't look near as bad as the other day.

That is because when your TTB is allowed to droop it won't be in the same spot when you lower the truck back down onto its tires...if that makes sense. That is why you have to roll the truck back and forth to make the suspension settle.

What confuses me the most in your pics is why the coils looks like they're stuffed pretty good..even bulging out a little bit, like they're way too soft or something.

Ok, I took a couple more pics of the beam all the way down and measured the spring. It was about 18". So it's gotta be a 6" coil right? Skyjacker told me a 4" coil is 17" unsprung and a 6" coil is 18 7/8. I figure the shocks might be holding it up a tiny bit or the coils have compressed a little. I know they have been on there at least 6 years.

Now I think I'm back to square one. ?

If your toe alignment is off severely, that can certainly affect how the camber looks.
Does it squat down when you drive in one direction, then raise up when you reverse the other way? If so, your toe needs to be readjusted.

Don't think so. I'll try it. I know when you turn the wheel say to the left, the left side raises a little and the right lowers a little and same thing when you turn the other way, but I thought that was normal.

did you measure the compressed coil height after jacking it up and leaving the suspension unsettled?that will throw off the measurement.

your sway bar link needs extended or removed its limiting droop not the shocks.

get a settled coil height measurement and if somewhat low put in spacers on the bottom of the coil and align it with adjustable eccentrics?
