Help with my alignment??

I would measure the coils…17” or so= 4” coils…19” or so= 6” coils. If your coils are shorter than those then you should look into new ones, if you already have 4 or 6” coils then adjust the camber/caster bushing until the wheels are as straight as possible and adjust the toe, then take to get aligned. You may need to pick up a set of 0-4* adjustable bushings to get it back into spec. I end up just doing the alignment on my truck myself, its not that hard to get it within reason :icon_thumby:
just my 2cents

Are you sure you even have lift coils? Even 4" coils should lift it more than that. This is mine, with 6" Skyjacker coils, 6" Skyjacker brackets and the beam in the bottom hole (before alignment, 32" tires)

My camber after the 6" coils was slightly negative but would be positive with 4" coils. Yours just sits so low to the ground that it looks like you have maybe leveling coils (1-2".)

Something looks seriously messed up in those pics, but I can't quite put my finger on it...
(those are definitely not Skyjacker brackets, maybe Superlift)

Are the beams bent maybe? (was the truck ever jumped hard?)

Maybe they have leveling coils in there with the drop brackets??

No, something with the beams doesn't look right (notice where the axleshaft is behind the pivot bolt for the driverside beam. If the coils were that much too short, the axle would be well above where that bolt is).

I took some more pics. Don't know if you can see anything different. I jump it a few times, but were talking inches to maybe 1-2 feet off the ground maybe.

If you click full screen those pics get ALOT bigger.

So as of this moment, your ball joints, wheel bearings, etc are all good?

This might be a dumb question but…are your shocks long enough and working?

I replace the wheel bearings and I'm pretty sure ball joints are fine. I'll check em when I pull off the spring.

As far as the shocks, the are the james duff ones that come with the dual shock mount.
I'm sure I could use new ones, but would that affect the camber? Also, don't know if it matters, but the james duff lift is only supposed to lift the truck 2.5".

Well if the springs are designed for 2.5" of lift and you have 4" or 6" lift brackets, you will end up with what you have now....

You need either 6" lift springs or 2.5" drop brackets.

Well, I'm studying those pics...
Looks like that truck could have some history of piecemeal liftkit swapping.

I see:
James Duff coil buckets
Superlift axle pivot brackets
Skyjacker 6" lift coils (12 turns on them)
No bumpstops

Any possibility those beams might be modded for lift? Any welds on the face of the beams around the lower balljoint area? (one weld on the underside is normal)

If not, then I'm out of ideas if you say the balljoints are good... :dunno:

Maybe it might help if you try getting some pics from behind the axle.

I'll get some more pics tomorrow and get those springs off to measure them. If they were 6in coils how could the front be so low? I was getting the idea the only way it would be that low is if the springs were to short.

Get a side shot as well so we can see better the height of the truck.

Maybe he's got a 460 under the hood and just isn't telling us...
