well since limewire shut down. i started using Ares, but since i play all my music on itunes so i can upload them on my ipod, i want all my music in my itunes library. the only way i could get my songs from Ares to iTunes, was to right click the song from ares, and click 'open external' and they would go to my itunes and im pissin rainbows. BUT a couple days ago i downloaded a couple songs on Ares, and a couple of them, when i go to right click and open external, they go right to windows media player, instead of iTunes. so how can i get them to my itunes library? do i have to uninstall windows media player?
thanks

Once the song is done downloading go to the transfer tab then either hit the "locate file" button or right click on the file then click "locate file". That will bring you to the folder that the songs downlaod into. Once that opens up you can just drag and drop the files into your iTunes library.

Just wondering, why did you post this on TRS?

I am not quite sure you are referring to illegal downloads since you mentioned iTunes and it is legal, but the rest of the conversation sounds like illegal sharing to me, so with that said,

No one is allowed to discuss illegal file sharing.

Consider this a warning.
