Here goes,

I've been having a high pitched noise, like a rubbing squeel, coming from my front end for a while now which sounded like it was coming from the passenger side. Started thinking it was the wheel bearing. I swapped out the wheel bearing assembly which improved my ride quality and quieted some things down. I climbed up undernearth the truck and noticed a leak right where the passenger side cv axle goes into the front axle housing. While test driving, when i go switch into 4 high the squeel starts in again. When i take it out of 4 high it continues. Through trial and error I figured out that if I back up 20 or 30 feet, it's like it knocks something loose or unbinds it and the squeel stops. While I was test-driving I made a left turn and it was like the front end binded up and it made the left tire chirp almost like it stopped turning. As a lover of 4x4, I'm pretty concerned that I can't trust my 4x4 systen if I needed it.

Anyone have any ideas what this could be or any other things to try to narrow it down?
