Good day all, read all the guides on the forums and they say to use an Adapter that is no longer in production. If that isn't an option use a transfer case from a 97+ F150. What they fail to say is the F150 transfer case is twice as big and will not fit in the tunnel.

Does anyone have the Transfer Case Adapter and spline they are willing to sell? Or is there another option I don't know about?

TIA,
Michael

I would make room for the f150 transfer case. It will hold up better to the v8.

Welcome to the site. Sharp truck.

No I haven't. But I have been thinking about a v8 swap once in awhile, and thought it would be best to put all v8 components into the driveline, to avoid costly adapters and have enough beef.

Have you considered a body lift? I have heard that helps with the engine fitment and it would certainly help with the transfer case clearance I would assume?

The engine fits like a glove, the headers took about six months to have made, the body lift is a nice idea but I think will still need some massaging of the tunnel to get that Kim Kardashian size F150 transfer case to fit. I certainly look into it. Goes to get the custom exhaust built on Monday. So stoked to go from 125 HP to over 300 HP, I'm going to have to learn how to drive the truck or I'll be smoking some 33's. LOL
