i need quick help guys i have a 98 ford ranger 2.5 and today i was driving and hit a bump and the engine completely died and wont start now. i looked and found the little grey ignition module or sensor had been ripped off because it hit the radiator fan. i had it laying in a secure spot because it use to be mounted on the front coil pack until somebody broke it and left it hanging so i secured it but it came loose now and hit the fan and fell of into the road so i have no way of finding out what the part is called. all i know is its connected to the wiring harness and it has something to do with the ignition system. nobody knows the name of the part not even the parts guy at ford knows and theres nothing in the hanes manaul about it on the internet. anyone have an idea

Did it look like this?

it actually was called an ignition capacitor that i bought at the dealer, and i blew out my ignition coil fuse so it was a cheap easy fix so im back on the road
