Hello everyone I need some help.
I want to turbo my 2.5L but I don't know where to start.
If u could help me with some info that would be grate or send me to a shop
Somewhere in California. Thanx
 
A freind of mne turbo-d his 96' 2.3 and build the hell out of the motor. most pars from summit n jegs. lots of fabbin. lots of research. thats about all i can give you as far as info.

Turboing your 2.5 doesn't have to be that expensive. It kinda depends on what you are looking for power wise. Really your best bet would be to find a Turbo Coupe and transplant everything from that car to your truck. If you are going to run a lot of boost you will have to get some forged pistons. Those aren't cheap. Here are a couple of websites to check out: www.stinger-perfromance.com, www.40bob.com, and www.turbford.net.

Before you post on turboford, should you decide to, make sure you search first. Some of those guys over there have an attitude when it comes to not searching. I posted over there about my turbo coupe that kept burning up tfi modules and what I could do about it. Man did I get flamed for that.
