My credo
Giving my truck more money than it deserves.
Long story short, I wanted to pop the valve body off the worm shaft and make sure there were no bits of the power steering pump inside. I take the snap ring off and press through the spring pin exploding it all....

Is there anywhere I can source just the valve body for my steering box? I really don't want to go pull a junkyard one (if there are any left up here!) and learn that it got rain inside for the last decade. I can't find any help in the tech library, bronco graveyard, fordpartsgiant etc.

When I looked for mine, there wasn't much out there. I ended up with a junkyard box. Apparently most "rebuilt boxes are just new seals. If it was sloppy before it still will be.

If the "rebuilders" can't get anything but the seals, I doubt parts are available anywhere.

Mine was perfectly tight before. I just leaked a quart out of the input seal every 500 miles.
