I have a 2004 Ford Ranger XL SOHC V6 4.0L engine. I cannot remove number 1,2,3 (passanger side) spark plugs. Does anyone know how to remove these without removing all other components on that side of the engine (AC compressor, hoses, etc.)? Two out of these three (number 2 & 3), I can't even see. They are towards the underside of the engine. Does the engine need to be rotated to get to them? Any other ideas?

Thanks,
Jason

Try going in through the fender well. EIther jack it up, or remove the passenger's side tire.

Awesome, Thanks Bob.. thats a great idea. That makes sense as that should make the plugs at least visable. Ill give it a shot.
Ill report back.

Bob's advise was correct. After removing the passenger tire and wheel well cover, the spark plugs were accessable. Thank you for your help.
