help please

I have a 1990 2.3 that I've put in my 1988 ranger. I put my intake and carb off of the 2.0 on the 2.3 and I can't get it right. It runs but it runs rich. I'm wondering if anyone else has tried this since this 2.0 intake mounts right up to the 2.3. Any suggestions would be greatly apprieciated. thanks.

is it a 2barrel setup? if so I am in the process of taking that aisan carb off mine and am putting on a weber 2 barrel. I was having problems as well and I got tired of it so I am switching carbs to hopefully gain drivability.

Yea mine is a 2 barrel motocraft 5200. I have 2 of them and both of them are doing the same thing. Good luck. thanks.
