help on tires for my ranger

hello all i have a 86 ranger 2.9 5 speed its got 3 body lift and 4 suspension.
i went to the co-op today to look at some buckshots 33x12.50x15 they wont $195 each??? they jacked them up last time i got some was 135$ a year ago for my f150. anyways i was looking at some sites and found some super swamper ltb i realy like. i have MT classic 2 wheels got them form a guy i work with for 150 bucks 15x10. ok what i want to know is will the 34x10.50x15 or the 33x13.50x15 work better on my turck i like the 34 but will they look and work right on a 10 wide wheel? if i go 34 will i need to do some triming? i live in east tenn not far from tellico and windrock lot of hills and rock and mud if that helps any

You'd probably want the 13.5 wide tire, a 10.5 on a 10" rim the 10.5 would have not bulge to give your rims some protection (from sidewall bulge) and would have trouble holding a bead if you air down much.

But that's just my opinion.

thanks for the reply thats what i was thinking too about the wheel being to wide for that tire. if i was to do the 33x13.50x15 would that be a good tire to run the road with and off road? or should i look at the tsl they seem to have biger lugs from the ones iv seen.id say my truck will see 60% on road 40% off but i want a tire that will get me where im going. this is not my DD this is just a toy but will be on the road too. i dont want the thornbirds dont like them i have some on my jeep they dont do that good off road they are 35x14.50x15
