I have a 97' ford ranger with i beams all that is stock and i wanted to put coil spacers and i have tried and tried and i am almost there but i need a simple method then using two crowbars to seperate the spring to fit the spacers on the coil.... i have the bolt on ones i have tried and i think i need to put the rubber blocks in between the coils ?? any help please i would appricate it

Don't use those, they're bad. Get some that go underneath the coil, or make your own, like this.

Are you talking about these?

Normally, if you get all the weight off the spring, and then use a 1/2" drive breaker bar you can 'twist' them in.

But I do not suggest using them..they can fly out and take out a testicle, or break your coils.

I suggest getting some under the spring, like milje suggested.

I have a scar from those type spacers they are kinda dangerous. Wasnt even my truck and I didnt pt them in, they came out at a mud bog.
