Hi everyone,

After perusing the tech library, and some craigslisting, I found a 2001 explorer with an HD tranny that I can get (91k miles on it) for about $100 :icon_hornsup:. I also found someone selling a new clutch set up for a 2000 explorer sport (but he claims it fits 93-00 explorer and ranger. Now from what I know, I think the clutch itself and pressure plate is the same, but isn't the slave cylinder different for the 1997-2001 explorer? its for the 4.0 v6. I have a 94 ranger 4.0 OHV. Here is a link to the post, and a copy of his post.

1992 - 1994 Mazda Navajo 4.0L 6cyl

Purchased for 2000 Explorer Sport but sold truck. Brand new in box. Paid $189"

Any advice before I go ahead and buy this? Thanks!
